Wings & Wildflowers Walk: Plants, Birds, and Nature's Medicine
Thursday, May 21st • 6:30 - 8:30 PM
Augusta Canal/Riverwalk, Augusta GA

What messages are waiting for you in the wild?

Join us for a special evening of connection, curiosity, and wonder on as we explore the wisdom of both local plants and birds.

This unique experience will be guided wild plant walk, where we’ll slow down, observe, and learn about the medicinal and practical uses of the plants growing all around us. You will learn plant identification, medicinal uses, and how to deepen your relationship with the land.

We’ll also be joined by special guest teacher, Michelle Trask, who will introduce us to the ancient practice of Ornithomancy, also known as bird divination or Bird Medicine.

Cultures around the world have long recognized a special connection with birds, interpreting their presence, behaviors, and songs as guidance, omens, and messages.

As we walk the trail, Michelle will share the symbolism of local birds and how to begin listening for their wisdom. From cardinals carrying messages from ancestors, to herons offering lessons in patience, to hawks awakening perception, the birds may have something to say to you.

Come ready to walk, observe, and open yourself to the messages nature may be offering.
